Description
This air fryer banana bread healthy recipe is soft, moist, and naturally sweetened. Made with Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and whole wheat flour, it’s ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for breakfast or snacking.
Ingredients
3 overripe bananas, mashed
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, or chia seeds
Instructions
1. Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.
2. Add Greek yogurt, egg, maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients.
4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture just until combined.
5. Add optional mix-ins if using.
6. Grease a small loaf pan or line with parchment.
7. Pour batter into pan and level the top.
8. Place in air fryer at 320°F for 25–30 minutes.
9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
10. Slice and serve or store.
Notes
Use flax egg for vegan version.
Store in airtight container for 3 days or refrigerate up to 1 week.
Freeze slices individually for easy grab-and-go breakfasts.
