Description

Air fryer salmon from frozen is the easiest way to cook juicy, flaky salmon without thawing. Just season and go!

Ingredients

Scale

2 frozen salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 lemon (cut into wedges)

Optional: fresh dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (optional but helps with crisping).

2. Pat frozen salmon dry and brush with olive oil or butter.

3. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. Place in air fryer basket skin-side down. Cook at 400°F for 12–14 minutes.

5. Check doneness: salmon should flake easily and reach 145°F internally.

6. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with herbs.

Notes

No need to flip the salmon during cooking.

Add sauces or glazes in the last 2–3 minutes to avoid burning.

Use parchment liners for easier cleanup.
