Description
A light, crisp green tea refresher recipe made with green tea, lemon, mint, and honey. Perfect for hydration, digestion, and a gentle 7-day belly reset.
Ingredients
2 green tea bags
2 cups hot water
Juice of 1 lemon
5–6 fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Ice cubes
Lemon slices or cucumber (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Steep the green tea bags in hot water for 4–5 minutes.
2. Remove the tea bags and stir in the lemon juice.
3. Muddle the mint leaves gently and add them to the tea.
4. Add honey or maple syrup if desired and stir well.
5. Let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes.
6. Fill your glass (or pitcher) with ice cubes.
7. Pour the green tea mixture over ice.
8. Garnish with lemon slices or cucumber if you’d like.
9. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes
Use decaf green tea bags if drinking in the evening.
Add a splash of pineapple juice or fresh berries for a fruity twist.
Adjust lemon or honey to taste.
