Description

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark is a crunchy, sweet-and-salty treat with layers of mini pretzels, buttery homemade caramel, and rich chocolate. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or snacking!

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups mini pretzels

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ teaspoon sea salt

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, crushed toffee bits, white chocolate drizzle

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and lightly grease.

2. Spread pretzels evenly on the prepared sheet.

3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Let it boil for 3 minutes without stirring.

4. Remove from heat and pour caramel over pretzels. Spread evenly.

5. Bake for 5 minutes.

6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot caramel. Let sit 2 minutes, then spread evenly.

7. Sprinkle with sea salt and optional toppings.

8. Cool completely at room temp or refrigerate until firm.

9. Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use parchment paper to avoid sticking.

You can swap semi-sweet chips for dark or white chocolate.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
