Description
A bold and easy sizzling spaghetti recipe made in one skillet with garlic, tomato paste, and chili flakes. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti (about 225 g)
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
4. Stir in tomato paste and red pepper flakes; let it caramelize for 1–2 minutes.
5. Toss in the drained spaghetti and let it sizzle for about 30 seconds.
6. Pour in reserved pasta water, stir well, and season with salt and pepper.
7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
Notes
For a sizzler spaghetti bolognese recipe, brown ground beef or sausage in the skillet before adding spaghetti.
Add anchovy paste or olives for a richer flavor.
Double the chili flakes for a fiery “assassin spaghetti” variation.
